Annual Dinner Update

The Club’s Annual Dinner was held at the Tontine Hotel in Greenock on Friday 17th November. The Vice Commodore, Ross Fullarton, welcomed 42 members and friends. It was an enjoyable evening and the usual raffle raised funds in aid of the RNLI to which the Club will be donating £300.

The next event on the Club calendar is the AGM on 24th January. The local Coastguard will attend to speak before the meeting, and to answer any queries members might have.

Annual Regatta and Barbecue

We held our annual regatta and barbecue on Saturday 5th August. The weather was mainly dry and sunny and a blustery wind made for an exciting sail for the fleet of 5 yachts racing and cruising around the Captayannis east of Rosneath Patch. The race was won by Fraser Harvey on Gryphon who finished one minute ahead of Ian Reid on Anduril.

Following the race the barbecue at the clubhouse was enjoyed by 25 members and guests.

Our next social gathering will be the Closing Muster at Holy Loch Marina on Saturday 2nd September.

Pictures from the barbecue can be seen on the Photo Gallery here.
